I’ve recently started collecting toys!
While out shopping at China Square then Sunshine Plaza, I saw this really uber cool and super nice but super expensive Square Enix Master Arms collection - Sephir’s Gunblade!!!
Alas, it’s out of my budget for now…
I gotta find freelance soon, instead of doing changes for free.
Anyway, here is a very long and nice list of toy shops in Singapore.

If you guys know of any good and cheap place to get toys for Final Fantasy, please let me know!

HTML 5 has finally added more elements in its newest version. For people who don’t know that HTML has a version, now you do.
Anyway, the new elements are pretty interesting, and a further in depth review of the new elements - and how to use them, can be found here.
Have fun!

I just found a really good tech site that is based on LOCAL CONTENT!
http://hdtvsg.blogspot.com/
Imagine seeing prices in SGD. Reading about M1, Starhub or Singtel instead or Verizon or Vodafone or whatever. =P

Supposedly one of the biggest Asia-Pacific webhost. But after trying out an account with them, I think it can’t even be compared to a webhost run by a teenager.
This is what happened. A client of Make purchased a .com.sg domain via WebVisions. Only the domain. We were planning to host the site on our own server. But, turns out that if you want to change the DNS of the domain that supposedly belongs to you now. There are a lot of procederes and forms to fill. This is what David said anyway.
So, to make things simple, the client bought hosting from WebVisions as well. Turns out that they can easily edit the DNS now. Magically. So DNS was pointed to their server, and the account was live. No cPanel. Just some custom control panel which literally sucksass compared to cPanel.
Now, the main thing is, they actually installed a whole mySQL for this account. So imagine, how many different mySQL is running on one server, with multiple sites. AND, the normal way for us to link to this mySQL server, via PHP, which is mysql_connect(’localhost’,'user’,'pass’) does not work. Why?
Turns out they use another port for their mySQL server, and you need to do this. mysql_connect(’localhost:8888′,’user’,'pass’). When my previous code did not work, we got the client to contact WebVisions support, and their reply wasn’t very helpful at all. So, after some trial and error, I got it working in the end with the help of Google.
This is just my take on this expensive host, and let me make myself clear again. I wasn’t directly involved with WebVisions, but indirectly. It’s enough to make me not want to host with them again though.

String:
filetype:pdf intitle:”hacking.google”
Explanation:
filetype:pdf - Would search for all filetypes ending in the extension .pdf.
intitle:”hacking.google” - Would search for the phrase (hacking google) in the title of the file I am looking for.
** Noticed I used a period between hacking and google instead of a space, this is used as a variable, which means it could be a period, space, underscore, comma etc. etc.

The respected designer/developer Nick La, who’s also the person who created this beautiful Wordpress theme you’re seeing now, has launched a new website/blog called Web Designer Wall.
It’s going to be a multi author blog with news about design trends, CSS, and more. Definitely a good site to look at.

People who thought he was fucked up. I can’t agree more now. Na bei chee bye. Words cannot describe how within 10 minutes, all my respect for anyone is lost.
Never trust anyone. Even if he’s smiling at you, or playing with you. He can be a fucker too.

My previous post actually made it to the 8th result on Google. lol.
This post is to let people know that they finally paid me, without any apologies for the delay. Whether the post affected the speed at which the cheque reached me, I do not know. But I think it is reasonable to say that Proximity Singapore’s efficiency is doubtful.

Kept this in my drafts for some time… It’s a good read for aspiring creative directors, or just someone who loves advertising.
